There are many facets to focus on regarding rehabilitation depending on the wheres, whens, and hows of injury. However; rehab protocols I believe should always include three things:
1. Mobility
2. Stability
3. Functionality
These should most always be done in this order and can be done from the first visit to the last visit with varying difficulty or progression. This means the progression or difficulty of the exercise should be constantly changing throughout subsequent visits. The later visits should be focused on getting back to our everyday lives pain-free or performance.
