    • This is the typical manual chiropractic adjustment. Using this technique Dr. Colandrea can restore motion to restricted joints for quick pain relief. Usually an audible 'pop' is heard during this type of adjustment.

  • Drop Table

    • A specific adjustment to restore motion and balance to the sacrum and pelvis or foundation of the spine.

  • Activator

    • The Activator is an adjustment tool meant to give a highly specific and gentle adjustment to the affected joint.

 

Soft Tissue (Massage)

  • Myofascial Release

    • Decrease adhesions within tight muscle tissue to decrease pain and stiffness

  • Trigger Point Therapy

    • Treat painful knots in muscles that may refer pain to other areas

  • Strain-Counterstrain

    • Release of the muscle by putting it in certain positions

  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue

    • Decrease adhesion within the outer layer of the muscle (fascial layer), tendons, and ligaments to relieve tension and stimulate positional sense of the muscles using specific edged tools and/or cupping.

Exercise

  • Palliative - Light exercises or stretches to increase range of motion and decrease pain

  • Corrective - Improve muscle coordination and muscle activation to facilitate proper movement patterns

  • Functional - Taking corrective exercise and correlating those movements to everyday tasks for long term relief.

  • Athletic or Sport Specific - Additions to your work-out or conditioning regimen to promote optimal movement patterns. Great to include in your warm-up or super-set.
